Wisconsin Goose Wild Rice Bake

Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked duck or goose meat, chopped
- 2 cups cooked wild rice or blended rice
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups mushrooms or chopped vegetables
- 1 cup cream or stock

- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 cup grated hard cheese
Instructions
- Butter a baking dish and combine the meat, rice, onion, vegetables, cream or stock, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Top with the cheese and dot with butter.
- Bake at 375 degrees F until hot through and bronzed on top, about 25 minutes.
- Serve with a bitter salad or simple greens.
