Wild Turkey Pot Pie with Garden Vegetables

This wild turkey pot pie is rich and comforting, packed with tender turkey and fresh garden vegetables under a flaky golden crust.

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked wild turkey, shredded
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced (garden-grown)
- 1 cup carrots, diced (garden-grown)
- 1 cup peas (garden-grown)
- 1 cup potatoes, diced (garden-grown)
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 package pie crusts
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions, carrots, potatoes, and peas until slightly softened.
- Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir. Slowly add chicken stock and cream, simmering until thickened. Stir in shredded turkey, salt, and pepper.
- Pour filling into a pie dish and cover with pie crust. Cut slits in the top for ventilation.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until crust is golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
