Wild Boar Chili with Sweet Cornbread

This hearty wild boar chili is slow-cooked with garden vegetables and bold spices, served with a side of sweet cornbread for a perfect comfort meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground wild boar
  • 1 medium onion, diced (garden-grown)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (garden-grown)
  • 2 cups tomatoes, diced (garden-grown)
  • 1 cup kidney beans
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked cornbread, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown ground wild boar over medium heat. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté onions and garlic in the same pot until softened. Add tomatoes, beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Return wild boar to the pot and simmer for 40-50 minutes. Serve hot with sweet cornbread on the side.
