Wild Boar Barbecue Sliders

Tender wild boar cooked in a smoky barbecue sauce and served on soft slider buns for a taste of Southern comfort.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs wild boar shoulder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 medium onion, sliced (garden-grown)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (garden-grown)
  • 12 slider buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the wild boar with salt and pepper. Place in a slow cooker with onions, garlic, and barbecue sauce.
  2. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until tender. Shred the meat with forks.
  3. Toast the buns and assemble sliders with the shredded boar and extra sauce. Serve warm.
