Ingredients
- 4 walleye fillets
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 small tortillas
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Juice of 1 lime (garden or locally grown)
- 1 cup shredded cabbage (garden or locally grown)
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (garden or locally grown)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (garden or locally grown)
Instructions
- Season walleye fillets with salt and pepper. In a shallow dish, mix flour, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Coat each fillet in the flour mixture. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the fillets until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Break into smaller pieces for tacos.
- In a small bowl, mix sour cream and lime juice to make the lime crema.
- Assemble tacos by layering fish, cabbage, tomatoes, and cilantro on tortillas. Drizzle with lime crema before serving.
