Ingredients
- 1 lb ground venison
- 1 medium onion, diced (garden-grown)
- 2 carrots, diced (garden-grown)
- 1 cup peas (garden-grown)
- 2 cups sweet potatoes, mashed (garden-grown)
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup beef or game stock
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Sauté onions and carrots in a skillet until softened. Add ground venison and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomato paste, peas, and stock. Simmer until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Transfer venison mixture to a baking dish and spread mashed sweet potatoes on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden.
