Ingredients
- 2 lbs whitetail deer roast
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (garden-grown)
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (garden-grown)
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped (garden-grown)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
- In a small bowl, combine garlic, rosemary, thyme, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the deer roast.
- Place the roast in a roasting pan and cook for 2-3 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium-rare.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
