Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground venison
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 medium onion, finely diced (garden-grown)
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped (garden-grown)
- 1 tbsp thyme, chopped (garden-grown)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, combine venison, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape into a loaf and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread ketchup on top.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until cooked through. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
