Breakfast hash is a beloved staple in many households, and this version uses tender venison to take it to the next level. The crispy potatoes, sautéed vegetables, and seasoned venison come together for a hearty breakfast packed with protein and flavor. Ingredients
- 1 lb ground venison
- 2 large potatoes, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced (garden-grown)
- 1 bell pepper, diced (garden-grown)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 eggs
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Cook the potatoes over medium heat until golden and crispy, about 10 minutes.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and venison to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened and the venison is browned, about 8 minutes.
- Season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Make four wells in the hash and crack an egg into each. Cover and cook until the eggs are set, about 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
