Trout Almondine

This classic French-inspired dish features pan-fried trout with a buttery almond sauce, perfect for an elegant meal.

Ingredients
- 4 trout fillets
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (garden-grown)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season trout with salt and pepper, then dredge lightly in flour.
- Heat 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook trout for 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining butter and almonds to the skillet. Cook until almonds are golden, then stir in lemon juice and parsley.
- Drizzle the sauce over the trout fillets and serve immediately.
