Smoked Wild Boar Tacos with Pico de Gallo

These smoked wild boar tacos are bold and flavorful, paired with fresh pico de gallo for a vibrant and delicious meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb wild boar shoulder, shredded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small tortillas
  • For the pico de gallo:
  • 2 tomatoes, diced (garden-grown)
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced (garden-grown)
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped (garden-grown)
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate wild boar shoulder in olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for 1 hour.
  2. Smoke at 225°F for 1.5 hours or until tender. Shred the meat and set aside.
  3. For the pico de gallo, mix tomatoes, onion, cilantro, lime juice, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Assemble tacos with shredded boar and pico de gallo. Serve immediately.
