Smoked Venison Jerky

This smoked venison jerky is marinated in a savory blend of spices and slow-smoked to perfection, making it the ideal snack for outdoor adventures or road trips.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs venison, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Add venison slices to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat a smoker to 160°F. Arrange venison slices on smoker racks and smoke for 4-6 hours until dry but pliable.
  4. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
