Ingredients
- 2 goose breasts
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped (garden-grown)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for searing
Instructions
- Score the skin of the goose breasts and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear goose breasts skin-side down for 5 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, add apple cider, honey, Dijon mustard, and thyme. Simmer until reduced to a thick sauce.
