Ingredients

  • 4 elk steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (garden-grown)
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped (garden-grown)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season elk steaks with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic and rosemary for 1 minute. Pour over steaks and serve.
