Pan-Seared Duck Breast with Orange Sauce

This pan-seared duck breast is cooked to crispy perfection and topped with a tangy orange sauce for a gourmet dining experience at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 duck breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Score the skin of the duck breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook duck breasts skin-side down for 6-8 minutes, then flip and cook for 4-5 minutes. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, mix orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Slice duck breasts and drizzle with orange sauce before serving.
