Ingredients
- 4 bass fillets
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped (garden or locally grown)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Pat the bass fillets dry and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the bass fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Flip the fillets and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in parsley and lemon slices. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the bass fillets before serving.
