Ingredients
- 4 trout fillets
- 1/2 cup flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (garden-grown)
Instructions
- Season trout fillets with salt and pepper, then coat lightly in flour.
- Heat 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook trout for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining butter, almonds, and lemon juice to the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring, then spoon over trout fillets.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
