Pan-Fried Quail with Garlic Butter

Crispy pan-fried quail is served with a rich garlic butter sauce for a quick and delicious dish that highlights the delicate flavor of upland game birds.
Ingredients
- 4 quail, cleaned and butterflied
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (garden-grown)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (garden-grown)
Instructions
- Season quail with salt, pepper, and paprika. Dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook quail for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute. Spoon garlic butter over quail and garnish with parsley.
