Lobster Mac and Cheese

Lobster mac and cheese is a luxurious twist on a classic comfort food, blending tender lobster meat with creamy cheese sauce and perfectly cooked pasta. Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped (garden or locally grown)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until thickened.
  3. Reduce heat and stir in cheddar and Gruyere cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add macaroni and lobster meat to the cheese sauce, stirring to combine. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with breadcrumbs and bake at 375°F for 15 minutes, or until golden and bubbly. Garnish with fresh chives before serving.
