Ingredients
- 2 duck breasts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Score the skin of the duck breasts in a crisscross pattern. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the duck breasts skin-side down and cook until the skin is crispy, about 6-8 minutes.
- Flip the duck breasts and transfer the skillet to the oven. Roast for 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- In a small saucepan, mix honey and balsamic vinegar. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Brush the glaze over the duck breasts before serving.
