Honey-Balsamic Glazed Duck

Ingredients

  • 2 duck breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Score the skin of the duck breasts in a crisscross pattern. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the duck breasts skin-side down and cook until the skin is crispy, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Flip the duck breasts and transfer the skillet to the oven. Roast for 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  5. In a small saucepan, mix honey and balsamic vinegar. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Brush the glaze over the duck breasts before serving.
