Herb-Crusted Trout with Lemon Butter

Ingredients

  • 4 trout fillets
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped (garden or locally grown)
  • 1 tbsp dill, chopped (garden or locally grown)
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, parsley, dill, lemon zest, and melted butter.
  3. Season the trout fillets with salt and black pepper. Press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each fillet to form a crust.
