Grilled Wild Turkey Breast with Herb Marinade

Wild turkey, native to forests across the United States, has long been a symbol of American wildlife and hunting traditions. This grilled preparation, featuring a fragrant herb marinade, enhances the natural flavor of the turkey and pays homage to the richness of the country’s woodlands.

Ingredients
- 2 wild turkey breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (garden or locally grown)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (garden or locally grown)
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (garden or locally grown)
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped (garden or locally grown)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
- Place turkey breasts in a resealable bag and pour in the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove turkey from marinade and grill for 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with a side of roasted vegetables.
