Grilled Quail with Rosemary and Honey

Grilled quail is marinated in a rosemary and honey glaze, creating a perfect balance of sweetness and earthy flavors. A simple dish that highlights the delicate taste of upland game birds.

Ingredients

  • 4 whole quail
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (garden-grown)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, honey, rosemary, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Marinate quail in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill to medium heat. Grill quail for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through.
