Grilled Pheasant with Honey Herb Glaze

Ingredients

  • 2 whole pheasants, cleaned and halved
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped (garden-grown)
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (garden-grown)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat. Brush pheasant halves with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey, thyme, and rosemary to make the glaze.
  3. Grill pheasant for 10-12 minutes per side, brushing with glaze during the last few minutes of cooking.
  4. Serve hot with additional glaze drizzled on top.
