Ingredients
- 1 lb ground elk meat
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced (garden-grown)
- Burger buns and toppings of choice (lettuce, tomato, etc.)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground elk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
- Grill patties over medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked to desired doneness.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
- Assemble burgers with buns, patties, caramelized onions, and desired toppings. Serve hot.
