Fried Dove Poppers with Cream Cheese and Jalapeños

These bite-sized dove poppers are stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños, wrapped in crispy bacon, and fried to perfection. A simple and flavorful appetizer that’s perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 8 dove breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 jalapeños, halved and seeded (garden-grown)
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Season dove breasts with salt and pepper. Spread cream cheese onto each jalapeño half and top with a dove breast.
  2. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño in bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry poppers until bacon is crispy and the dove is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Serve warm as an appetizer.
