Fried Dove Breast with Bacon and Jalapeños

This fried dove breast recipe features crispy bacon and spicy jalapeños, creating a flavorful bite-sized dish that’s perfect for game day or as an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 8 dove breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 jalapeños, halved and seeded (garden-grown)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Season dove breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Wrap each breast in bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Stuff a halved jalapeño with each wrapped dove breast.
