Ingredients
- 4 catfish fillets
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine cornmeal, flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat catfish fillets in the mixture, shaking off excess.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Fry catfish for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
