Duck Breast with Blackberry Glaze

Pan-seared duck breast with a sweet and tangy blackberry glaze, complemented by fresh herbs from your garden.

Ingredients

  • 2 duck breasts
  • 1 cup blackberries (garden-grown)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped (garden-grown)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Score the skin of the duck breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and sear the duck skin-side down until crispy, about 8 minutes. Flip and cook for another 4 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, combine blackberries, honey, balsamic vinegar, and thyme. Simmer until thickened, about 10 minutes.
  4. Drizzle the glaze over the cooked duck and serve.
