Blackened Catfish with Lemon Butter

This blackened catfish recipe features a bold spice blend and a rich lemon butter sauce. A Southern classic that’s quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 4 catfish fillets
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (garden-grown)

Instructions

  1. Rub catfish fillets with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook catfish for 3-4 minutes per side until blackened.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter and mix with lemon juice and parsley.
